Cardiovascular Registered Nurse
Overview
- Temp assignment in Petoskey, Michigan
- 13-week contract
- Day shift, 12 hours per day
Unit / Setting
- Cardiovascular Unit (CVU)
- CVU cares for cardiology patients and includes care for patients after PTCA, stents, TAVR, MitraClip, and bi-ventricular pacemakers
- CVU also cares for patients with congestive heart failure and electrophysiology studies
- The unit discharges approximately 300 open heart surgery patients post-op
- The role may float to similar units
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Michigan
- Stepdown (1 year of experience)
- Stepdown experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- ACLS
- BLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience working with Cardiac patients
- EKG comfortability
Additional Notes
- Strict 3-strike attendance policy applies
- References not required
- Full-time employees of McLaren are not eligible for contract hire within six months of employment
- Local travelers are those with a permanent address within 35 miles of the facility
