Labor and Delivery RN

Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Everett, Washington
• Start date: ASAP
• 13-week contract
• Night shift: 4x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
• First-timers accepted
• Weekends required
• Call not required
• Locals not accepted
• Guaranteed hours: clinician can be called off for 1 12-hour shift per 2-week period

Unit and setting

• Labor and Delivery at the Pacific Campus
• High-risk perinatal care
• Level III unit
• 19 labor and delivery beds, 10 antepartum beds, 30 postpartum beds, 3 ORs, 2 PACU, 7-bay triage
• Float required to Postpartum

Required qualifications

• Valid RN license in Washington
• Labor and Delivery (1 year of experience)
• Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
• EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Proficiency in vaginal exams

Preferred

• Experience in facilities handling 200+ deliveries
• Experience in facilities with 100–200 deliveries

Clinical details

• Level II Trauma Center
• EPIC charting
• Scrub color: any except reddish orange

Additional notes

• RTO must be included at time of submittal
• Parking is facility paid
