Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Missouri
• 2 years of cardiac stepdown experience, with experience within the last year
• Telemetry experience
• Experience with cardiac drips
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) issued by the American Heart Association
• BLS issued by the American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Schedule

• Shift: Day, 4x12 hours (7:00 to 19:30)
• Hours: 12 hours per day, 48 hours per week
• Hours available: Can sign for 36 or 48 hours per week
• Weekends: Every other weekend
• Ratios: 1:4-5
• On-call: Not required
• Block schedule: Not accommodated
• Time off: No more than 7 days of RTO per 13-week contract

Compliance Requirements

• Criminal background check within 6 months of start, plus state and federal exclusion searches
• Education verification
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Negative TB test (2 PPDs, or a T-Spot or Q-Gold within 1 year) and yearly TB questionnaire
• Drug screen within 1 year of start, covering the panels listed by the facility
• Tdap or declination
• Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella immunity (titer, vaccines, or MD statement)
• Hepatitis B declination
• Annual fit test
• Flu vaccination or exemption during flu season (10/01 to 03/31)
• Orientation modules, HIPAA acknowledgement, and regulatory compliance education
• Two professional references

• Badge photo taken within 6 months of start
