Description

RN Step Down

Location: Mequon, Wisconsin Shift: 07:00 - 19:30 Contract Length: 13 weeks Assignment Type: Float position, end of week and end of hour coverage (EOW, EOH)

Role Overview

Float onsite to where the greatest need is, within your skill set.
Departments include AAU (Acuity Adaptable Unit, mixed patient types), Med/Surg, Inpatient Rehab, and ED boarded patients in the ED.
May need to float to sites within 40 miles if needed.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Wisconsin
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Stepdown experience (2 years of experience)
Stepdown experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
Experience with Epic
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS
Driver's License

Optional

Unit-specific checklist: optional for onboarding, but the unit leader must upload it within a week
Positive PPD with negative chest X-ray and annual TB questionnaire (if applicable)
Legal name change documentation

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
