Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Connecticut
• CT Technologist experience of at least 1 year, with experience within the last year
• Experience in a hospital setting
• Experience with Siemens imaging equipment
• Certifications (listed in source; confirm per unit): ACLS, BLS, and PALS. AHA or ARC only.
• Background check: 7-year criminal background check within 12 months of start, updated annually. Also EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start.
• Education verification: Highest level of education required. Diplomas are not accepted. Education must come from an accredited school. International candidates need a foreign equivalency report and diploma.
• Work history: Employment application with a 7-year work history and no gaps greater than 90 days. Work history verification for the last 7 years.
• References: 2 professional references within 3 years of start.
• Color blind test: Online test with a score of 80% or higher. Exams dated before the signed contract are not accepted.
• Drug screen: 10-panel drug screen within 12 months of start. Rapid 10-panel is accepted. Each of the 10 panels must be listed.
• Physical exam: Within 12 months of start.
• TB: Negative T-Spot or QGold within 6 months of start, or 2 negative PPDs at least 1 week apart within 12 months. A TB questionnaire is required and must be updated annually.
• Immunity: Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella documentation (positive titer, vaccine series, or declination, depending on the test).
• Flu vaccine: Vaccine or medical/religious exemption required during flu season (09/01 to 03/31). Declinations are not allowed. Deadline 12/01.
• Fit mask test: Within 12 months of start, updated annually. Candidates must be clean-shaven for testing.
• Required trainings: 21st Century Cures Act module (CT Tech is listed), Fire Safety module, Chaperone Policy Training, and a new employee orientation module (copy due by end of day on start date).

Preferred Qualifications

• Tdap vaccination is highly preferred but not required. A declination is acceptable.
• COVID vaccine series is preferred if the candidate has received it.
