Registered Nurse, Operating Room (Travel)

Contract Length: 8 weeks Location: Danvers, MA

Schedule and Hours

• Shift: 8-hour day shift, 40 hours per week
• Guaranteed 72 hours biweekly on all assignments, not including on-call time
• Main location hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with possible extension if cases run late
• Call: 2 to 3 shifts per schedule period, either weeknight 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. or 12-hour weekend shifts (7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. or 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.)
• Call response time: 30 minutes

Work Locations

• Primary: Danvers surgical center with 4 ORs
• Occasionally (rarely) travels to a second site with a 10-room OR suite
• Required to float to another facility if needed

Services

General, GYN, Orthopedics (total joints), GU, ENT, Vascular, Robotics, Spine

Required Qualifications

• MA license
• BLS-AHA
• Flu vaccine required before start; personal and religious exemptions not accepted
• Strong experience in orthopedics and cataract surgery
• Able to scrub DaVinci Robotics cases and orthopedic cases
• Coversheet required at time of submission
• Does not allow anyone who has worked permanent, per diem, or travel for any facility in the system within the past six months
