Description
RN - Telemetry
Location: Richmond, Virginia Unit: CDU (Main Hospital building, 1st floor, adjacent to Same Day Surgery)
Assignment Details
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Hours: 36 per week
- Schedule: Every other weekend, 12-hour shifts
- Unit size: 10 beds, 5:1 patient ratio
- Staffing: 2 RNs and 1 PCT
- Equipment: Telemetry
- Float scope: Other like units if needed, or the ED for telemetry holds
- Patient experience requirements: Bedside shift reports and hourly safety rounding
- Unit status: This is a brand new unit providing 24/7 telemetry monitoring for patients.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Virginia
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience (2 years)
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Phlebotomy skills
Dress Code
- Navy blue uniform (required)
