Description
CT Tech - Radiology
Location: Atlantis, Florida Employment Type: Travel Contract Length: 13 weeks Hours per Week: 36
Unit Details
- Unit: CT Tech
- Beds: 24
- Staff: 14 (radiologist, radiologist techs, ultrasound techs, MRI techs, CT techs)
- Day shift: Director, radiologist, 6-7 techs
- Night shift: Charge RN, on-call team, 3-4 techs (varies with volume)
- Patient ratios: 1:1 or 1:2, depending on patient stability
- Equipment: GE equipment, MRI units, scanners, cameras, x-ray, fluoroscopy
- Facility: 472-bed acute care medical/surgical facility specializing in cardiovascular care, neuroscience, oncology, orthopedics, bariatrics, and women's services. It is also a teaching facility.
Procedures
- CT scan, MRI, body scanner, x-rays
- Imaging of bones, organs, and tissues, combined into accurate assessments
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Florida
- CT Technologist with 2 years of experience
- CT Technologist experience within the last year
- ARRT (CT) certification
- BLS certification

- Communication skills, medical and anatomical knowledge, mechanical aptitude
- Ability to multi-task and work with a variety of physicians, radiologists, and patients
