Description
Position available for an FMLA Speech-Language Pathologist position in the vicinity of Northlake/Bellwood, IL.
- 7 hours billable/day, 35 hours/week, 8-3:30 with a 30-minute duty-free lunch
- Mid October through Mid March covering a maternity leave so estimated dates
- 4 Blended Pre K classrooms with AM and PM sessions
- 3-5-year-old students with special education eligibility of primarily Developmental Delay and Speech-Language Impairment (potentially some Autism Spectrum Disorder)
- New Early Childhood assessment team that will be using the Transdisciplinary Play-Based Assessment (TPBA)- previous experience/ training would be great, but not required
- Previous Early Childhood experience also a plus!
- Caseload of approximately 30-40 students, push in services in the form or classroom groups and small groups/centers will be expected.
Previous school experience or experience working with pediatrics is a plus. Candidate must be bilingual in Spanish, able to converse freely with both students and parents as well as relay progress notes to parents and teachers in Spanish as necessary. Candidate must also possess an IL license to practice speech as well as a Professional Educator's License (PEL).
