Description
Job Description
As a pediatric intensive care unit nurse (RN PICU), you will oversee and treat children of all ages who are faced with medically complex or life-threatening health conditions. You will be responsible for monitoring their health and providing necessary care, possibly including life-saving interventions. Due to this large scope of responsibility, you will generally only be assigned a few patients at any given time, allowing you more bandwidth to manage complicated cases. Using patients' health histories and current diagnoses, you will develop a personalized patient care plan, implement these treatments, and evaluate how the patient responds, working with the healthcare team to make any necessary adjustments.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent acute care experience in specialty
- Active RN license
