Description
Job Description
As a registered nurse - bone marrow transplant unit (RN), you'll care for patients who are being treated for diseases such as lymphoma, leukemia, anemia, cancer and immune deficiency. Working at a hospital, outpatient facility or cancer center, you'll collaborate with oncologists and other cancer care team members. Your responsibilities may include administering chemotherapy, medications and IVs, monitoring vital signs, helping patients manage pain, providing patient and family education, and assisting before, during and after procedures. You'll play an essential role in providing moral support and ensuring your patients receive safe, high-quality care.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent acute care experience in specialty
- Active RN license
