Description
Job Description
As a registered nurse - behavioral health, you'll provide care for patients with mental health disorders, illnesses or crises. Working at a hospital, outpatient center, behavioral health facility, or another setting, you'll collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers and other members of the behavioral healthcare team. Your responsibilities may include conducting evaluations, developing care plans, providing treatment, administering medications, using cognitive behavioral therapy, and providing education and moral support for patients and their families. You'll play an essential role in ensuring your patients receive safe, high-quality care.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent acute care experience in specialty
- Active RN license
