Description

Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse in Augusta, Georgia. This position involves providing acute patient care in a high-paced emergency department setting. The role requires collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes and responding efficiently to emergency situations.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated. These include Basic Life Support (BLS) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC-BLS) or BLS-Instructor (BLS-I), RN licensure (Single State RN or RN-Compact Multi-State), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or ARC-PALS or PALS-Instructor or PALS-Provisional (180 Days), Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) or Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses (ATCN) or TNCC-Provisional (18 Months), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or ARC-ALS or ACLS-Instructor or ACLS-Provisional (180 Days). Additionally, candidates should possess a minimum of less than 1 year of experience with direct patient care, be able to read, write, and speak English, demonstrate strong interpersonal and customer service skills, and exhibit critical thinking and time management abilities.

  • Additional Information: The shift is scheduled from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM; availability to work varies days of the week is required. Must be available for two 24-hour call shifts in an 8-week period, with a minimum of every other weekend and at least two major holidays and two minor holidays.
