Job Summary:
A registered nurse position located in Honolulu, Hawaii, specializing in labor and delivery and post-partum care. This role involves providing comprehensive maternal and neonatal nursing, including performing fetal monitoring, medication administration, and newborn assessments. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position offers an opportunity to work night shifts within a dynamic healthcare environment.
Job Details:
- Location: Honolulu, HI
- Schedule: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse License in Hawaii, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (ALRN), ACLS certification, one year of recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent labor and delivery or postpartum nursing experience, graduate of an accredited nursing program

- Additional Information: The role emphasizes skills in electronic fetal monitoring, high-risk medication administration (Magnesium, Oxytocin, Insulin), neonatal monitoring and procedures (heel sticks, venipuncture, IV maintenance), and maternal-newborn teaching support. Candidates should possess demonstrated ability to perform IV skills, lab draws, and newborn assessments, with knowledge of Bili-blankets, radiant warmers, and post-operative bladder training.
