Job Summary:
The ICU Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Mount Vernon, Illinois. Candidates are required to bring their Illinois state RN license on the first day of employment. This role involves providing critical care in a 7-bed ICU unit, with a focus on critical patient management during night shifts. The position is a 13-week contract beginning on June 29, 2026, with guaranteed hours and no overtime until after 48 hours per week.

Job Details:

• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Schedule: 48 hours per week minimum, every other weekend/holiday required
• Required Qualifications: IL state RN license, AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications; Associate Degree or Certificate education; at least 2 years of ICU/Critical Care experience; EPIC charting experience; ability to work resiliently and manage change; hard-working social candidates preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Float: May float to Emergency Room or Medical-Surgical units as needed. Possible coverage as House Supervisor; orientation to be provided if floating to Emergency Department.
• Additional Information: Guaranteed hours of 48 per week; no on-call; must arrive within one hour for call-backs if census is low; orientation may include a few shifts with current supervisor to review daily operations.
