Job Summary:
The organization is seeking qualified Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurses (RNs) for a night shift position at a healthcare facility located in Mount Vernon, Illinois. This role involves providing critical care in a 7-bed ICU unit, with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 2:1. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position is scheduled to commence on June 29, 2026, and is contingent upon meeting all qualification requirements.

Job Details:

• Location: Mount Vernon, Illinois
• Unit Type: ICU/Nursing Administration
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36.0
• Required Qualifications: Associate Degree or Certificate or Bachelor's Degree, Illinois state Registered Nurse (RN) license, at least 2 years of ICU/Critical Care experience, EPIC Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience, and certifications including American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS).
• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Candidate may be required to float to Emergency Room (ER) or Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) units as needed; occasional coverage as House Supervisor may be required; orientation will be provided. No on-call requirement; if needed for low census, arrive within one hour for call-back. Every other holiday rotation.
• Certifications to Attach Upon Submittal: Illinois RN license, AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS.
• Vaccinations: Covid-19 vaccine not required but subject to change.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
