Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Skilled Nursing Doctor (SDU RN) for a cardiothoracic surgery unit located in Cleveland, Ohio. This position involves providing specialized nursing care on a step-down unit, with an emphasis on patient monitoring and post-operative care for cardiothoracic surgery patients. The role is ideal for professionals with relevant clinical experience seeking to contribute to a dedicated healthcare team.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license in the state of Ohio, certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), one year of nursing experience in a cardiac or step-down unit, and familiarity with cardiothoracic postoperative care
- Preferred Qualifications: Additional certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and experience in a critical care environment are preferred
- Additional Information: This role involves caring for patients recovering from cardiothoracic surgeries, requiring adherence to hospital protocols and safety procedures. The candidate should be capable of monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Strong communication skills and the ability to work night shifts are essential.
