Description
Job Summary:
The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Lodi, California. This role involves delivering specialized nursing care to neonatal patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. The position requires supervising and coordinating activities of care team members while employing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment. Candidates must bring their nursing license on the first day of employment.
Job Details:
- Location: Lodi, California
- Shift: Night shift hours, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN); RN licensure in California; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor; Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) certification; zero years of experience required
- Additional Information: Experience in an acute care facility is preferred. The role involves floating as NRP nurses and to postpartum as needed.
- Essential Functions: Collects relevant patient data; analyzes assessment data; develops and implements care plans; evaluates progress; collaborates with the healthcare team; provides education to patients and families; participates in discharge planning; delegates and coordinates duties; performs additional duties as assigned.
- Organizational Requirements: All associates must receive required vaccinations as a condition of employment. The organization participates in E-Verify.
