Job Summary:
A Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery (L&D) is needed in a facility located in Devils Lake, North Dakota. The role involves providing direct patient care, coordinating with healthcare teams, and ensuring a safe and positive childbirth experience. The position offers the opportunity to apply specialized skills in a dynamic hospital setting, supporting patient education and discharge planning for obstetric patients.

Job Details:

• Position: Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery Department
• Location: Devils Lake, North Dakota
• Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid license as a Registered Nurse from the North Dakota Board of Nursing or a Compact State Agreement; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics; S.T.A.B.L.E. certification; 1 year of nursing experience in labor and delivery or related field
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with neonatal and obstetric emergencies, strong communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Additional Information: The nurse will perform daily patient rounds, develop and implement individualized care plans, assess patient conditions, respond to emergencies, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Responsibilities include early discharge planning, patient education, and documentation of all patient interactions. The position begins on 07/27/2026, with a commitment of 36 hours per week.
