Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Operating Room (OR) at a healthcare facility located in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. The position involves providing surgical nursing care across multiple specialties, including orthopedic, gynecological, obstetric, plastics, general, cardiovascular, neurological, urology, breast, and podiatry. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Shift Hours: 8 hours, with varied days and shifts
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours
- Required Qualifications: Licensure/certifications required to work as an RN in Pennsylvania; Certifications include Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Crisis Prevention Institute/Healthcare Worker Certification (CPI/HWC); 1-2 years of experience; Must have completed and cleared screenings prior to start; experience in OR surgical services with skills in orthopedics, gynecology, obstetrics, plastics, general surgery, cardiovascular, neurology, urology, breast, and podiatry are preferred; candidates must have a Pennsylvania RN license.
- Schedule: Variations in days and shifts with weekend hours every other week or as needed; on-call required once or twice per week in 8-hour increments
- Experience: 0-2 years in OR surgical services
- Float: Float rotation may be required
- Additional Information: Orientation occurs weekly on Mondays; candidates must reside at least 60 miles away to be considered for travel. Candidates must meet all screening requirements prior to start.
