Job Summary:
The ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Registered Nurse position is located in Alton, Illinois. The role involves providing specialized care for complex medical and surgical patients, including neuro and medical intensive care. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Location: Alton, Illinois
• Shift Hours: 12-hour shifts
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
• Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Experience: 2 years minimum experience required
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in ACLS and BLS; Illinois license in hand at time of submittal; Missouri license or compact license acceptable if tied to another compact state or submit without license for Missouri.
• Schedule: Nights; minimum of 36 hours per week
• Additional Information: Will work holidays and weekends as needed.
• Clinical Skills: Vents, IV Start, Telemetry, Arterial line management, Chest Tube assistance, BiPAP/CPAP management, Blood Product Administration, Ventilated Patient care, Central line care/management, Continuous IV paralytics/Neuromuscular blockade, Continuous IV sedation, CVA/Acute Stroke management, CVVHD/CRRT, Emergency Medications, Tracheostomy care, GI surgery, Hypothermia protocol, Infection Prevention, ABG interpretation, Dysrhythmia management, IABP, PPE, IV insulin protocols, Multi-organ failure management, PICC line management, Procedural Sedation, Respiratory failure, Sheath Removal, IV maintenance, Suctioning, Titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips, Ventilator management.
• Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics with complex medical and surgical needs, requiring intensive care and support.
