Job Summary:
The Location is Ukiah, California. This is a Level 2 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) nursing position specializing in Labor and Delivery (L&D). The registered nurse will deliver coordinated nursing care for patients, supervise and direct nursing staff, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, humane, and effective patient care. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Position: Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery Department, Level 2 NICU
• Location: Ukiah, California
• Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, 36 or 48 hours per week. Shifts start around 6:00 am and go to 6:30 pm
• Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in California; Basic Life Support (BLS or HS-BLS or RQI BLS) certification; Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Level 2 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) experience for day shift; 0 years of experience required but preferred experience in acute care facilities
• Additional Qualifications: Experience with labor, postpartum, and fetal monitoring is preferred. Scrubs are provided if needed, otherwise eggplant-colored scrubs.
• Essential Functions: Collects and analyzes patient health data, develops and implements care plans, coordinates patient care with the healthcare team, participates in discharge planning, and provides patient and family education. Delegates duties appropriately and ensures a safe environment in line with established standards.
• Organizational Requirements: All required vaccinations must be received as a condition of employment. The organization participates in E-Verify.
