Job Summary:
The Hospice position is located in Carmichael, California. This role involves providing compassionate hospice care to patients with a focus on comfort and quality of life. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. Job Details:

• Required Qualifications: Valid license to practice; BLS Certification; 2 or more years of recent experience in palliative and/or hospice care; experience in ICU and oncology settings a plus; strong acute care, clinical thinking, and communication skills; flexibility and organizational skills; EMR systems experience with Cerner, Epic, or Meditech.
• Preferred Qualifications: ELNEC (End of Life Care) certification is preferred; experience with teaching hospital or trauma level experience is a plus.
• Additional Information: Rotate in with core staff during shifts; no call requirement; no floating required; dress code is business casual with comfortable shoes, white lab jacket; 3-4 days of department-specific orientation with Palliative Care RN Coordinator and physicians.
