Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical Floor is needed in a healthcare facility located in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. This position involves providing high-quality patient care on a Medical Surgical Unit, with the flexibility to float to other Medical Surgical units as needed. The assignment requires adherence to specified shift hours and schedules, along with certification and licensing requirements.

Job Details:

• Shift: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 48 hours per week.
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 48 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Massachusetts Registered Nurse license (must be uploaded with profile), two years of current Medical Surgical experience required, telemetry experience required, willingness to float is required, Basic Dysrhythmia course completion strongly required, Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred, current American Heart Association BLS certification, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification must be on hand at profile upload.
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
• Additional Information: The unit size ranges from 20 to 34 beds depending on the unit, with a patient ratio typically of 1:6. Personal scrubs of any color are acceptable. Holiday and overtime multipliers are 1.25. Travelers must be willing to float across all Medical Surgical units as needed and have their own vehicle for transportation. All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission, and travelers must include their permanent address in their profile. Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible. It is necessary to include multiple available interview dates and times in the profile, as "anytime" will not be accepted.
