Description

Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Pediatric Cath Lab Nurse in Tacoma, Washington. This role involves providing specialized nursing care in a pediatric catheterization laboratory, supporting complex diagnostic and interventional procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

  • Location: Tacoma, Washington
  • Schedule: 0700-1730; 10-hour shifts
  • Required Qualifications: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) Certifications; Washington state or compact license; minimum 2 years of experience in pediatric cath lab; prior experience in pediatric cath lab preferred; experience with pediatric diagnostic and interventional procedures including LHC/RHC, PDA/VSD/ASD closures, septostomy, congenital structure stenting/ballooning, collateral closure, pacemaker implant/generator exchanges, loop recorder implant/removals, EP study with radiofrequency ablations for SVT, WPW, atrial Tach, PVC; EMR experience preferred (EPIC Cupid); monitoring experience preferred (PACS: Picom; Hemodynamic: Merge; C-arm: Siemens Artis).
  • Additional Information: No float rotation required. Weekend rotation involves call only, with 1-2 weekends per month (anticipated every 3rd week). On-call shifts include 7 shifts within a 2-week pay period, with weekday calls from evening to early morning and weekend calls from Friday evening to Monday morning. Response time is 45 minutes; no sleep room available. Scrubs are provided by the hospital, including lead.
  • Shift Times: 0700-1730, 10 hours per shift
