Description

Job Summary:
The Springfield, Illinois-based Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) RN position is located within a Level I trauma center acute care hospital. This role involves providing specialized cardiac catheterization procedures, including diagnostic and interventional catheterizations for adult patients. Candidates must bring their Illinois license on the first day. The position requires a minimum of one year of relevant experience.

Job Details:

  • Position / Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab RN
  • Shift: 4x12 or 3x12 days (06:30 AM 07:00 PM)
  • Schedule: The role requires working a minimum of 48 hours per week, with shifts totaling 12 hours.
  • Required Qualifications: Licensure in Illinois; ACLS and BLS certifications; minimum 1 year of experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, including adult procedures, left heart catheterization, pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring, right heart catheterization, and procedural sedation administration/monitoring; Cerner charting system experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a Level I trauma hospital or similar acute care setting.
  • Understanding and compliance: Candidates must review all role requirements with the traveler, confirm understanding of compliance and housing arrangements, and provide SSN and DOB at submission. Submission must include 2-3 interview availability windows, and start and RTO dates must be accurate and confirmed. Up to five non-holiday RTO days may be auto-approved. Candidates are required to work two of the three major holidays.
  • Additional Information: Floating within scope may be required. The candidate must complete all required electronic modules prior to start, with the first day dedicated to virtual orientation. All documentation, including lab appointments, fingerprinting (for roles without licensure at submission), and badge photos, must be completed within one week of contract signing.
