Description

Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular (ICU OH) is located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This position involves providing holistic, patient-centered care to adult and geriatric patients, including those undergoing open-heart surgery, with a focus on cardiovascular critical care. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

  • Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota
  • Shift: Nights (8 hours)
  • Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours
  • Start Date: 06/22/2026
  • Required Qualifications:
    • One or more years of experience as a registered nurse in a critical care environment
    • Valid Minnesota nursing license
    • BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from AHA (American Heart Association) or ARC (American Red Cross)
    • Experience with fresh open-heart surgery patients
    • Interpretation of cardiac rhythms proficiency
    • Epic electronic medical record experience
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience with Impella and balloon pumps
  • Schedule:
    • Nights shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS
  • Additional Information:
    • No on-call requirement
    • Every other weekend schedule
    • Submission must include work history and two supervisory references with dates employed
    • Candidates must indicate if not eligible to work in the USA; all RTO (Request for Time Off) requests must be included at the time of submittal
