Description
Job Summary:
Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) Registered Nurse in Saint Petersburg, Florida. This role involves delivering specialized nursing care to patients in a dedicated LTAC facility, utilizing clinical judgment, critical thinking, and leadership skills to ensure patient safety and quality of care. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

- Minimum Hours Per Week: 36.0 hours
- Required Qualifications:
- Certifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS), both through the American Heart Association
- Experience: Ventilator/tracheostomy (vent/trach) experience, knowledge of central lines, and preferred wound care experience
- Licensure: Florida Registered Nurse (RN) or multi-state compact RN license, must be attached to resume
- Education & Experience: Any minimum experience required; Job order indicates 0 years of experience as acceptable
- Additional Information:
- The Registered Nurse must demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in providing safe patient care
- Must have clinical competencies maintained through continuing education
- Delegates patient care priorities appropriately and supervises assigned personnel
- Must adhere to facility policies and state Nurse Practice Act
