Description

Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) Santa Rosa, California. This role supports an acute care surgical environment performing a wide range of OR cases, including trauma, orthopedic, neurosurgical, vascular, and general procedures as needed by unit scheduling. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

Schedule: Variable start times at 7:00 and 9:00, with 12-hour shifts and a minimum of 36 hours per week.
On-Call: Call is required and is distributed equally among nursing staff every 6 weeks; call could be up to 68 shifts in a 6-week period (including nights, evenings, and weekends).
Weekends: Weekend coverage is required.
Holidays: Willingness to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year) is required.
Required Qualifications: Valid California license in hand; Basic Life Support (BLS); experience requirements include 2 years of relevant experience; 3 years of previous charge experience required; charting experience with Epic; Trauma Level I experience required; travel experience required; candidates must submit RTO at the time of submission; provide 2 references covering 1 year within the last 3 years during the compliance process and prior to start (charge RN/lead references may be included).

Additional Information: Travelers may be expected to float between nearby sister facilities. Travelers refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.
