Description
Job Summary:
The location is Everett, Washington. This is a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) RN position within a Level II trauma center. The ideal candidate will provide care for neonates 34 weeks and greater gestation, with a focus on neonatal resuscitation, ventilation, and specialized NICU protocols. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of the assignment.
Job Details:
- Location: Everett, WA
- Shift Hours: 12-hour shifts, nights, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Start Date: 07/27/2026
- Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); valid Washington state license or Compact RN license; minimum of 2 years of experience in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, specifically at Level III or higher; travel experience required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Neonatal Intensive Care Unit level IV, Neonates 34 weeks, and charting experience in EPIC.
- Schedule: Four weekend shifts in a four-week schedule; eligible for one guaranteed shift off per two-week period for neonates 22 weeks and greater gestation; must work three of five designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day).
- Additional Information: Candidates may be asked to float within the hospital or to a nearby sister hospital. All travelers are expected to float within similar units according to skill set.
- Submission Requirements: Include all requested RTO at the time of submittal; provide two references covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years, prior to start; notify of background check or Nursys hits at submission.
- Certifications: BLS, NRP.
- Vaccinations: COVID-19 vaccine and flu vaccine are required.
