Description
Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery (L&D) in Austin, Texas. This role involves providing high-quality care within a high-volume delivery service, with over 500+ deliveries per month. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.
Job Details:
- Location: Austin, Texas
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school or college of nursing; Associate Degree in Nursing; Texas Registered Nurse license; minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery or Perinatal experience in a high-volume delivery setting; Certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted, Neonatal Resuscitation certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics, Advanced Life Support from American Heart Association or American Red Cross, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification, and S.T.A.B.L.E Program certification
- Additional Information: The unit is a Level IV Maternal Designation facility with 20 Labor and Delivery suites, 4 C-section suites, 10 Triage rooms, 51 Mother-Baby Couplet rooms, and 14 monitored Ante-partum rooms. It offers academic teaching services and large private obstetric practices. The facility provides 24-hour in-house OB, anesthesia, and NICU coverage and is expanding to a new Womens Tower in mid-2026.
