Job Details:

• Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
• Location: Greenville, North Carolina
• Shift: 10-hour days (0700-1700 or 0900-1900)
• Schedule: 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Start Date: 08/10/2026
• Experience: 0 years minimum required, 2 years preferred in operating room or cardiovascular surgery environments
• Certifications/Education: Current North Carolina or Compact State nursing license, American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) certification
• Call Requirements: Call required, weekend call required
• Rate: $115.00 per hour
• Radius Rule: Candidates must reside within an 80-mile radius of the Greenville area
• Duration: 13 weeks assignment with potential for extension
• Patient Population: Cardiac (including CABG, valve repair/replacement, TAVR, LVAD), vascular (such as aneurysm repair, carotid stenting), thoracic surgeries (including thoracotomy, VATS, esophageal/hernia repairs, bronchoscopy, robotics)
• Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Circulating Nurse manages overall nursing care in the operating room, maintains a safe and comfortable environment
  • Scrub Nurse prepares the sterile field, handles surgical instruments and supplies, supports the surgical team, manages specimens and performs counts to prevent retained foreign objects
• Additional Information: The position involves circulating and scrub roles within a cardiac vascular, and thoracic surgical setting, supporting complex and high-acuity procedures.
