Job Summary:
The position is for a Certified Operating Room Technician specializing in Vascular and Orthopedic procedures, located in Plattsburgh, New York. This role involves working in a healthcare facility with a focus on various surgical specialties. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Monday to Sunday, with weekend shifts as needed
• Required Qualifications: Certifications through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA); Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; near two years of experience; work history from similar size facilities with trauma level II or higher; prior travel experience preferred.
• Additional Information: Assignment duration of 13-16 weeks; float and call required with a maximum of one call per shift/week and one weekend day per four-week schedule; no block schedules; bi-weekly orientation on Mondays, with the next scheduled for 6/29; all employment gaps over 90 days must be explained; complete work history including bed count, electronic medical record system, and facility type required; reliable transportation strongly recommended, especially during November to April.
