Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Operating Room (OR) at a healthcare facility in Rutland, Vermont. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role involves working both day and evening shifts with rotating schedules, primarily focusing on orthopedic procedures with total joint experience. The position requires adhering to facility protocols and providing high-quality perioperative patient care.

Job Details:

  • Location: Rutland, Vermont
  • Schedule: 10-hour shifts, including options for 6:30 am to 3:00 pm or 12:30 pm to 9:00 pm, and 7:00 am to 5:30 pm or 10:30 am to 9:00 pm. The minimum hours per week are 40.0.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, orthopedic skills with total joint experience, BLS certification, and prior OR experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Scrub experience, Cerner Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system experience.
  • Additional Information: Scrub is highly preferred. Manager interviews proceed after IVS reviews; candidates should provide availability to expedite the process. The profile packet must include accurate work history, health system name and campus, bed count, EMR technology, facility type or trauma level if applicable, ratios, and explanation of employment gaps over 30 days. Candidates must have reliable transportation as public transit is not accessible. Errors or incomplete profile packets will be returned for corrections.
