Description

Job Summary:
Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) contractor position in Long Term Care (LTC) located in Charlevoix, Michigan. The role involves assisting staff nurses in the treatment and care of patients according to established hospital procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

Location: Charlevoix, Michigan
Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan nursing license
- Two or more years of RN experience in long-term care
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Existing Michigan Long Term Care Fingerprinting (a selling point)
Additional Information:
- Strict attendance policy with a three-strike system effective from 6/1/2024; absences or late arrivals over 20 minutes may result in immediate termination, with exceptions for communicable diseases or hospitalization supported by evidence.
