Job Summary:
The ICU (Intensive Care Unit) nurse position in Manchester, New Hampshire involves providing specialized critical care to a diverse patient population with various medical and surgical needs. The role requires skillful management of advanced medical devices and procedures, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and care in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details:
- Location: Manchester, NH 100 McGregor Street, Manchester, New Hampshire, 03102-3770
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Active nursing license in hand; ACLS and BLS certifications; 3 years of experience in ICU or equivalent; Willingness to start on 08/03/2026
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior ICU experience with critical drips, ventilators, and advanced cardiac devices; experience with procedures such as central line, arterial line, TEE, and cardioversion; organized and adaptable personality
- Additional Information: Unit comprises 20 beds with a mix of medical and surgical ICU patients. Equipment includes IV pumps, telemetry monitors, ventilators, Impella, IABP, and CRRT among others. Patient ratios vary based on acuity, with a team including nurses, LNAs, and sitters. Unit policies are available upon request. No weekend or on-call requirements.
