Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Telemetry in Springfield, Missouri. This position involves providing direct patient care on a telemetry unit, utilizing a focus on assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs. The role is designed to support high-quality care delivery with an emphasis on patient safety and teamwork.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, 1900-0700, 36 hours per week minimum
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license for the state of Missouri or eligible for licensure in Missouri; BLS certification from the American Heart Association; NIHSS certification (must be obtained prior to start); at least 1 year of experience in telemetry nursing; experience with drug titration and inpatient care; current in electronic patient monitoring and IV pump use
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified
- Float: Float rotation may be required on a rotational basis
- Additional Information: Utilizes nursing processes for patient care, maintaining professionalism and confidentiality. Coordinates care across departments, monitoring patient status and response to treatment, with an emphasis on safety and adherence to organizational standards. May require working differing schedules, shifts, days, or work frequency according to patient care needs.
