Description

Job Summary:
An experienced Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) RN is sought for a position in the San Francisco, California area. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role involves providing specialized care in a cardiac catheterization and interventional cardiology setting, with a focus on procedures such as structural heart interventions and transcatheter aortic valve replacements (TAVR). The shift is scheduled during daytime hours with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Job Details:

  • Location: San Francisco, California
  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts, Days, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid California Registered Nurse (CAL RN) license, ACLS certification, BLS certification, 5+ years of experience in Cardiac Catheterization/Interventional Cardiology/Electrophysiology (EP), current COVID-19 vaccination (booster preferred), and flu vaccination. Candidates must have experience with structural heart procedures, TAVR, and be able to float to other UCSF facilities.
  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS
  • Additional Information: Candidates should have expertise in cardiovascular procedural skills including assist with central line insertion/management, cardiac stent placement, diagnostic cardiac catheterizations, implantable device management, transesophageal echocardiogram (TEE), vascular closure, and ventilator management. Experience with Epic electronic health record system is preferred.

  • Experience: 5+ years in Cardiac Cath/Interventional Cardiology/EP (no minimum years explicitly specified but the position requires significant expertise)
  • Submittal Requirements: Two professional references from most recent employer.
