Description

Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position in Medford, Oregon. This role involves providing specialized emergency care in a short-term acute care facility with 108 beds. Candidates are required to bring their licensure on their first day. The position includes night shifts and may involve float between units as needed.

Job Details:

  • Location: Medford, Oregon
  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, minimum of 0 years of experience, certifications including ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course); experience interpreting dysrhythmias, managing patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, and conducting venous access procedures.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in emergency, trauma, or pediatric care; previous experience with Epic charting system.
  • Additional Information: Willingness to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals if required. Candidates must have a vehicle for this assignment. The shift hours available are 0700, 1000, 1100, 1300, 1500, and 1900. Candidates should be flexible to work at least three of the five major holidays and must request all scheduling and RTO preferences upfront. The facility emphasizes adherence to strict protocol and equipment familiarity including Alaris Pumps, Zoll defibrillators, and Phillips monitors.
