Job Summary:
A Medical Surgical with Telemetry nurse is needed in Burlington, Massachusetts. This position involves onboarding patients in the emergency department, primarily managing boarder patients waiting for inpatient beds. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The assignment duration is 13 weeks, with a schedule of night shifts working 12 hours per shift and a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Job Details:

• Location: Burlington, Massachusetts
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Massachusetts license, Level 1 trauma certification, Epic electronic medical record system experience, Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association, and at least 6 months of separation from the organization and in good standing.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with boarder patients in the emergency department, experience with Epic EMR, trauma certification, familiarity with BILH processes.
• Float: Float rotation is not required.
• Additional Information: Averaging 40 patients a day, waiting for inpatient beds. Ratios are typically 5:1. Day 1 tele testing is required, with practice tests during onboarding, which must be passed within two attempts during compliance. All time off must be listed at the time of submission, and minimal time off will be considered. Weekly orientation with any color scrubs.
