Description
Job Summary:
A registered nurse specializing in step down units in Nashville, Tennessee, is needed to provide care on a progressive care unit that focuses on cardiac patients. The nurse will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care for individuals with heart failure, cardiomyopathy, acute coronary syndrome, and other cardiac disorders. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
- Location: Nashville, Tennessee
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification, no prior experience required, candidate must be willing to work in Nashville, Tennessee
- Additional Information: The unit has a capacity of 23 beds and serves patients with advanced heart failure, cardiomyopathy, Acute Coronary Syndrome, pre and post cardiac surgery, and other related cardiac disorders. The patient age range is Young Adult through Late Adult (18 - 60+). The staffing model includes Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Patient Care Technicians (PCTs), and Nurse Interns (NIs), with an RN assuming full responsibility for assigned patients. The staffing plan is variable and may include a mix of team members.
