Description
Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cardiac Cath Lab) RN position available in Baltimore, Maryland. This role involves working in the cardiovascular interventional lab, including cath and electrophysiology (EP) labs. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on their first day. The position entails a 13-week assignment with a schedule of four 10-hour shifts per week, alternating/staggered between 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM and 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
Job Details:
- Location: Baltimore, Maryland
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, Minimum of 2 years RN experience in Cardiac/Surgical Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Cardiovascular Interventional Lab (CVIL) cath and/or EP labs experience, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) experience, Moderate sedation experience.
- Schedule: M-F; Four 10-hour shifts; 40 hours a weekalternating/staggered ten-hour shifts (7:00 AM 5:30 PM or 8:00 AM 6:30 PM).
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous employment in any capacity at any Johns Hopkins facilities (staff, PRN, travel), with verification of rehire status required if applicable.
- Additional Information: On-call pay of $4.00/hour; on-call requirement includes weekday, weekend, and holiday coverage, with a response time of 30 minutes; no block scheduling or set schedule; on-call is every 4th weekend, with 1-2 weekday on-call days per month. Previous employment with Johns Hopkins facilities must be documented and verified.
