Description
Job Summary:
A registered nurse (RN) with expertise in adult medical oncology ICU units is sought for a position in Baltimore, Maryland. This role involves providing specialized ICU care to adult oncology patients, including managing central lines, arterial lines, and cardiac monitoring. Candidates are required to bring their RN license on the first day of work.
Job Details:
- Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Adult Medical Oncology ICU
- Location: Baltimore, Maryland
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours shift hours, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: RN license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, ICU experience with central lines and arterial lines, management of patients with cardiac monitoring, and experience with electronic medical records (EMR) using EPIC.
- Preferred Qualifications: Oncology experience, Aiaris pumps, CRRT experience, Critical Care Certification, trauma course, ACLS certification.
- Additional Information: Orientations are scheduled for the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month. There is no on-call requirement. Candidates with previous employment in any capacity within any Johns Hopkins health system facilities must note this on their coversheet and in their work history. Prior staff, perm, or PRN employees seeking to apply as travelers must have been away for at least one full year.
