Description
Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical Oncology for an outpatient oncology unit located in Houston, Texas. The role involves providing high-quality patient care in an ambulatory setting, with a focus on breast oncology. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of employment.
Job Details:
- Location: Houston, TX
- Schedule: Days, 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, and oncology experience supporting high-quality patient care in an ambulatory setting. Experience with Epic electronic medical record system is preferred, specifically in breast oncology. Additional experience with IV/PAC access and injections is highly desirable.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in ambulatory oncology and Epic electronic medical records system.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Candidates must have at least two years of nursing experience, including oncology and ambulatory oncology experience, and proficiency with IV/PAC access and injections.
