Description
Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position available in Princeton, West Virginia. This role involves providing maternity care in a high-volume unit with specific focus on antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum therapies. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.
Job Details:
- Location: Princeton, West Virginia
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, with weekends as scheduled. Minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications include Basic Fetal Monitoring, Advanced Fetal Monitoring, and Basic Life Support (BLS). Education and experience requirements consist of a valid license to work as an RN, with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of AWHONN guidelines, experience with antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care, and the ability to circulate and recover Cesarean sections are preferred.
- Additional Information: Unit maintains a 100-mile radius rule; RN s can read strips on OB, with telemetry available. The unit features equipment such as Cpap, Bipap, and Vent. Orientation is conducted intradepartmentally. Call shifts include 3-4 shifts within a 6-week schedule, with availability required within 30 minutes. Scrubs are provided in-house.
- Certifications Required at Submission: Expired drivers license copy and licensing hits disclosure are mandatory.
