Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) nursing in Morgantown, West Virginia. This role involves providing quality patient care within a specialized unit, following established care plans, and supervising ancillary staff. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of shift.
Job Details:
- Location: Morgantown, West Virginia
- Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required prior to first shift; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required prior to first shift (CIRH only); minimum two (2) years of bedside clinical experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a progressive care or telemetry setting is preferred.
- Additional Information: The RN will perform assessments within 8 hours of admission, develop and implement individualized patient care plans, and participate in discharge planning. The role involves supervising ancillary nursing personnel, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining effective communication within the interdisciplinary team. The RN is expected to engage in professional development activities and contribute positively to the work environment.
