The Iowa-based facility is seeking a qualified Surgical Technologist to join their team. The position involves assisting in various surgical procedures while maintaining compliance with departmental standards. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details

• Location: Decorah, Iowa
• Specialty: Surgical Technician / Operating Room Technician (ORT)
• Schedule: Days shift, primarily 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Hours may fluctuate slightly based on surgery case load, beginning as early as 6:00 a.m.
• Required Qualifications: Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program, State of Iowa mandatory reporter training, American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Surgical Technologist certification is preferred.
• Additional Information: Holiday call rotation included. Position requires staying within 30 minutes of the healthcare provider when on-call. The role includes on-call duties approximately once every two weeks and every fifth to sixth weekend.
• Responsibilities: Assist in general, orthopedic, ENT, obstetrics and gynecology, podiatry, urology, and dental surgeries.
