Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical (Med Surg) and Telemetry in Dallas, Texas. This role involves providing patient care in a 36-bed general med surg and telemetry unit, with responsibilities including monitoring, assessment, and supporting patient recovery. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

• Number of Beds: 36
• Staffing: 10 Registered Nurses (RN), 4 Patient Care Technicians (PCT) per shift
• Shift Schedule: Night Shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Shift Hours: 12 hours per shift
• Required Qualifications: Valid active nursing license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and no minimum years of experience required
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in telemetry monitoring, time management skills
• Float: Float rotation may be required across all acute care areas including med surg, gen surg, renal transplant, telemetry, neuro, and ortho
• Additional Information:
  • Four weekend shifts per schedule period (4 weeks)
  • Typical procedures include general medical-surgical care, telemetry, and non-titratable drips
  • Dress code: Royal Blue Scrubs
  • Unit policies and guidelines may be attached for review
