Description
Job Summary:
Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH) specialist located in Houston, Texas. This role involves working in a highly specialized cardiovascular operating room environment, supporting complex cardiac and vascular surgeries. Candidates must possess at least two years of exclusive CVOR experience, with scrub and circulate skills spanning five years. The position requires candidates to bring their license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
- Location: Houston, Texas
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certificates: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). Education: relevant certifications and training as specified. Experience: at least 2 years of CVOR experience in cardiac and vascular surgery; 5 years of scrub and circulating experience. Location: Houston, TX.
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
- Additional Information: Number of CVORs: 5 (including 1 hybrid and 1 hybrid shared with CathLab). Staffing includes 7 RNs (one CNC, one PRN, one PT) and 6 CSTs. Call is required, including weekend call. Black scrubs are provided by the CVOR unit.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
