Perinatal Care Nurse specializing in Post Partum (L&D PP) located in Corpus Christi, Texas. This role involves providing comprehensive care to postpartum patients and assisting in labor and delivery support. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.
Job Details
- Location: Corpus Christi, Texas
- Specialty: Post Partum Floor (L&D PP)
- Schedule: Day and Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid licenses for Registered Nurse (RN). Certifications include American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Infant & Child First Measures (IFM).
- Additional Information: Weekend shifts are required, 4 per 4-week schedule period.
- Responsibilities: Routine assessments, fetal monitoring, vital signs, finger sticks, caring for postpartum mothers and assisting in labor and delivery as needed.
- Float: Float rotation may be required for specialized care areas such as Labor & Delivery and postpartum care.
